@oliverquinlan 's Class blogs

I'm really impressed with @oliverquinlan's class blogs getting children to comment and reflect on each others work. Children are given time in class to do this... something I need to encourage more I think.

SMART

The Smart table... Far too expensive for my budget but looks like fun.

Am pleased to see that Smart Notebook 10.6 has an imminent release which has Snow Leopard and Windows 7 support. Should also mean our Senteo voting systems will work with the new OSs.

Primary Games

We use the games and resources from Primary Games quite a bit. Just seen their online option which helps teachers plan and allows them to set activities for children to try at home. Offered a discount as we are existing users.

Having a productive day so far. Time for a break I think.

DBPrimary (2nd try)

Just had a demo of DBPrimary... Has a really nice interface for primary pupils. Kent schools get ￡500 off the annual subscription too.

2Simple

Just got a trial of 2Simple Online Tools. Want to talk to Simon Widdowson about it later. Could be a valuable addition to a VLE / online content for the children.
